Who Are We?
Hi, my name is Chris Brummett, the creator of Perryville Jamboree. I wasn’t willing to miss the opportunity to provide the region with a great venue to showcase Ky’s finest musicians and eat a good meal! So when a local Jamboree closed its doors I ask the band to check our building’s acoustics and the rest is history. Classic country music tells stories that we can relate to. Those iconic songs help us get over and through life’s toughest moments. That is where I was when this opportunity presented itself. Thank you, God, for music!
My grandparents Abby & Ina, taught my brothers and me to love Hee Haw and the Lawrence Welch Show. We laughed at Buck and Roy jokes as we sat at their feet in front of the couch glued to the rather small TV as they combed our hair in an attempt to keep us still. Thank you, Granddaddy and granny! You were right, I should have learned to play the guitar.
My maternal set of grandparents were entrepreneurs. They worked so hard to build our family-owned furniture business, which includes the building we entertain in. They modeled for me what diligence produces. I am so grateful to have had Bunk and Mom-mot as grandparents; what a legacy! So when we say the Jamboree is our gift to the Bluegrass I mean just that. From our family to yours; enjoy!
The Perryville Jamboree is Central Kentucky’s new home for Classic Country & Rock Music. We occasionally present great Bluegrass and Gospel favorites too.
This family-friendly atmosphere is alcohol and smoke-free allowing the grandparents to share their favorite songs with their grandchildren.
The venue boasts superb acoustics, a stage built out of 85-year-old barn lumber, seats over 300 folks and tables to feed most of them! We are a dinner theater so you can eat and watch KY’s finest make music in the same room! It is an affordable place to host Family and Class Reunions, Weddings, rehearsal dinners, and Receptions; Easter Pageants, as well as Civic and Community gatherings.
A scrumptious dinner is available at 6 p.m. along with a wide variety of concession fare that will fit any budget.

The Civil War battlefield museum and self-guided tours are a couple of miles outside town! Perryville is home of THE BLOODIEST CIVIL WAR BATTLE IN KENTUCKY, ON OCTOBER 8, 1862.
Enjoy a leisurely walk down the original brick sidewalks on Merchant’s Row (a block-long row of restored buildings from the 1800s) as you enjoy a walk along the footbridge over the Chaplin River. Make a memorable day of it by visiting our downtown.
